Over the next couple of months I’m going to shine the spotlight on a few individuals who have set up successful businesses online. Some of them will be folks who have created online stores which sell all manner of interesting products, others will be individuals who started a blog just for the fun of it and turned their lives passion into their livelihood.
This week I’m taking a look at the http://www.ecigaretteshop.com/ which as an affiliate based web site set up by a long time friend of mine who goes by the name Ric. A few years ago Ric was just a regular guy working a regular job with a nasty nicotine habit he couldn’t kick. He tried for years to stop smoking, but always ended up with a cigarette hanging out his lips after a few too many beers. As someone who knows him personally I’m fully aware of just how much he used to hate smoking, but at the same time really rather enjoyed it.
Eventually Ric was introduced to a product called the e cigarette which basically mimics the regular tobacco many of us smoke but runs off of battery power, and doesn’t contain many of the chemicals and toxins which we all know do the body no good. This device delivers nicotine and a smoking experience without carbon monoxide and tar. Although it hasn’t been approved for use by the FDA, many people feel it is a better alternative to the real thing.
After managing to cut out real cigarettes altogether Ric started up his e cigarette reviews web site to inform others about the magic this little device is capable of. He set out, and in my opinion succeeded, to create a web site which will deliver all the information you could need to get started using one of these products. There are honest reviews of many of the top selling e cigs, all of which Ric has personally tested to ensure you don’t end up wasting your hard earned cash on a dud.
What I find most amazing about the E Cigarette Shop web site is that it has allowed Ric to leave his full time job and focus on his passion. Indeed the site now earns him more cash than he used to make when working for “The Man”. It’s testament to the power of the Internet that such a simple idea can lead to employment which can be carried out from home, and which can be entirely enjoyable and satisfying to carry out.
